Accessories

For the most part, electric violins use the same accessories as traditional violins. You use the same kind of bow, you can use normal violin strings on nearly any electric violin, and most electric violins will fit into a standard case.

While your electric can share a bow with your acoustic violin, it's usually a good idea to get a bow and case just for your electric. We have several options available, from our very reasonably-priced bow and case package to the wonderful Glasser braided carbon fiber bows, which play very much like a nice wood bow but will stand up to more abuse! We also have many accessories in our store that do not appear on the website, so please call if you need something you don't see here.
