The Bridge Aquila violin will hold your traditional shoulder pad, yet the body is anything but traditional. It is molded from a composite of carbon fiber and Kevlar, is not much heavier than an acoustic violin, and is incredibly strong. (Don't try this at home, but Bridge once hit one of their basses with a sledgehammer without breaking it!)
Power for the active pre amp is supplied by a single 3V lithium coin-cell battery, which weighs virtually nothing, yet will last for approximately 1,000 hours of playing time.
The Bridge Aquila violin comes with an oblong hard case, Pirastro Tonica strings and a carbon composite bow. Price includes our free shop adjustment.

The People make the difference! Review by President
The Aquila is a quality instrument for the money. It does not have a harsh "electric" sound and is by far the best looking violin available. If you can afford the Dragon model, you get upgraded electronics, pegs and tailpiece. The color choices are unsurpassed and best of all it is sold by EVS...its people and the service they provide will blow you away! I must have asked a million questions and Chris, Susie and Ted were so patient and helpful and caring. They are there for you....I would never buy an Electric Violin anywhere else, even if it were less expensive. Look no further, the Aquila is the right violin and EVS is the right company.
