We've always love Nick Tipney's Vector Prodigy electric violins -- now we're excited to offer our customers his Cellette electric cello, the smallest and most portable electric cello on the market. Perfect for cellists who are already playing amplified, but need an instrument that's easier to travel with, the Cellette is also quite comfortable to classically-trained players.
This Vector Cellette is finished is a transparent teal stain over the curly maple body and scroll, showing off the figure of the wood underneath. For contrast, the central spine and body parts are painted black. It's a dramatic look, loaded with stage presence. And if you're putting together an electric ensemble, we almost always have four and five string Vector Prodigy violins and a five string Prodigy viola to match!
Don't let its light weight and diminutive stature fool you -- the Vector Cellette comes with a Barbera bridge, for a strong, rich output that's all out of proportion to its size. For all that it's the most portable electric cello on the market, the Cellette stands ready to slug it out toe-to-toe with any of its heftier counterparts. It's hard to believe such an amazingly convincing cello tone is coming from such a small instrument, but playing is believing!
Includes knee outriggers, endpin mount, and chest brace -- everything a traditional cellist needs to give them the physical reference points they're used to relying on. Also includes a padded gig bag with a shoulder strap.
