Electric Violin Shop is the source for the most unique and one of a kind electric string instruments on the planet! From historical to signed, unusual to one-of-a-kind. Check out what we currently have in stock that you WON'T find anywhere else.

"Horned" acoustic/electric violin, by Bodo Vosshenrich--This maker was classically trained at Mittenwald in Germany and currently resides in France where he practices both classical and what he calls creative instrument making. This unique instrument has a powerful, brilliant sound when played acoustic, and when plugged in is, shall we say, demonically good. $14,000

Jordan electric violin, burled marbled maple--Maker John Jordan found the most gorgeous piece of wood and added his personal touch and attention to detail to create the most opulent violin body we've ever seen. Previously on reserve in the Electric Violin Shop collection. $4000

T.F. Barrett "Anchor" violin--Tucker Barrett, a long time maker of solid-body electric violins, stopped taking instrument orders in 2006 in favour of guitar repair and restoration work. Since his announced retirement from violin making, his already sought-after violins have gained the added value of collectability.--$1595
Cigar box fiddle--This working electric violin is made literally from an antique wooden cigar box! Electric Violin Shop's owner picked it up on a visit to the Appalachians of western North Carolina. Sounds good and plays well--if you can find a shoulder pad that fits it! $600
Signed collectibles

NS Design "US Cello"--Previously in instrument designer Ned Steinberger's personal collection, this is a new cello ready to be played or owned as a piece of electric cello history! $5000

Siren Electric String Quartet, red marble Bridge Aquila--Played only once by a member of the Siren Quartet. Electric Violin Shop loaned the British group a set of Bridge electric instruments for a 2009 performance in Nashville, TN. This instrument is signed by Polly, Cat, Jo and Llinos. $1260
NS Design NXT4 Bass, Limited Edition Ivory. EVS is getting one of 20 special Anniversary edition NXT basses, autographed by Ned Steinberger. The color is a rich ivory that almost seems luminescent. One of these beauties is already in the Museum of Making Music, so you can really own a special piece of musical instrument design history!
We expect our only autographed Ivory NXT Bass the first week of September. If you want to be the lucky owner, call to give us a deposit! $1595
