The Corus+ uses the new Clarus 2 head, with a twist -- their new Cabrio Docking System allows you to remove the head, for use with another cabinet. If you prefer a specific speaker configuration for recording, or you're traveling and want to use the venue's cabinet for a live performance, you can still take along your Acoustic Image head, to ensure you'll enjoy the audiophile sound you're used to hearing.
An increased number of even higher-quality effects complete the package of improvements in the new Corus+ combo amp. With a paper cone instead of polypropolene like the Coda, the Corus+ has a slightly more forward sound and presents a bit louder, since the amplifier can more easily vibrate the driver material. Bass roll-off is at 50hz, so you probably won't miss anything unless you're playing an upright bass -- in which case, the Coda+ is the amplifier for you!
