Zoom's intermediate-level multi-effects processor just keeps getting better! Newly redesigned, the G2.1NU now features 20 patches created by guitar legend Steve Vai, as well as 30 different amplifier and stomp-box models, and 83 guitar effects types. The Zoom G2.1NU's redesign also includes a larger LCD screen with short, intuitive descriptions of each patch in the place of the older version's patch numbering system.

Making your own sounds (or downloading cool sounds created by others) has never been easier -- Zoom's free Edit & Share software can be downloaded from their website, allowing you to create and modify patches for the G2.1NU on your computer, with drag & drop ease .

New features with the latest version of the G2.1NU include a 5-second looper and a studio-quality six-band graphic equalizer. An assignable expression pedal, integrated drum machine and auto-chromatic tuner return from the original, as does the built-in USB recording interface.

With more than 100 factory-preset sounds, simple programming of your own sounds, and a simpler, more intuitive display, the Zoom G2.1NU is an amazing value for the money, and a great introduction to effects for string players who are unfamiliar with the wilder sounds the electric violin is capable of.
