The DigiTech RP255 multi effects pedal is a great addition to any player's effects arsenal. This pedal has a rugged all metal chassis, expression pedal, and two stomp style switches to select one of the 120 different effect patches. Includes a built in tuner and looper, and drum patches (to help you with your groove). The RP 255 also has a USB output and can be using in conjunction with the included Cubase LE4 recording software.
The RP 255 sounds great with amplified bowed strings, and its grid style interface is intuitive even for those who are new to effects. It is also the cheapest multi effects pedal we have found that includes looping capability (20 second loop) as well as USB output for computer recording. If one is more comfortable with a computer screen, each preset can be edited with DigiTech X-edit (downloadable software from DigiTech's website). Includes power supply, does not operate on battery power.
