The Thomastik Vision strings are standard equipment on all Realist™ acoustic-electric violins; using the Stark (heavy) gauge for the E, A, D, and G. The C string on five-string Realist™ violins is medium gauge, as Thomastik doesn't make a C string in Stark. A Perlon® -core string, they have an excellent hand-feel, similar to gut, and a warm yet focused tone.
