Yamaha's AV-7-44SGE Electro-Acoustic violin is made from a very nice Yamaha acoustic violin. This is a beautiful violin, with an attractive two-piece back of nicely-flamed maple. Yamaha's excellent VNP-1 dual piezo pickup bridge amplifies the instrument's tone, giving this acoustic-electric a powerful, well-balanced and nuanced electric tone. Highly recommended for a classical player wanting a dedicated electric violin. Comes with a nice oblong case.
