Skyinbow violins are a lightweight, attractive design, constructed of spruce and flamed maple, traditional tone woods. The tone of Skyinbow violins is much more brilliant in the upper registers than many other electric violins, yet the lower strings are still wonderfully rich and full. The tone in the treble range is not overly harsh or brittle, even though Skyinbow violins are a little brighter than some other electrics. Skyinbow violins are great favorites with traditional players.

Skyinbow violins are available in four and five-string models, in either painted opaque finishes or vivid transparent colors that show off the figure of the maple.
