The Dragon Lyra is Bridge UK's custom "hi-spec" model, equipped with Wittner Finetune geared pegs and upgraded electronics that use two coin-cell batteries. We found the instrument's tone better balanced across the instrument's range than the standard Lyra, with a noticeably stronger output and more brilliance on the high strings, without treble harshness.
This Pearl White Dragon has a rich, lustrous sheen, the clear mica flake over the white finish giving it a luxurious depth and sparkle.

First and foremost, it's always about tone, and this is where the Lyra Dragon really shines. We already love the sound of the standard Bridge models, yet this Dragon Lyra sounded noticeably better than the standard Bridge 4-string we tested it against. Immediate first impressions were of the instrument's stronger output, but what really stood out and stayed with us was the beautiful balance of its tone. The Dragon models have much more brilliance on the high strings, exhibiting a sparkle and clarity of tone with a notable absence of the harshness that sometimes plagues the violin's upper register when it's amplified.
This Pearl White Dragon Lyra has a beautiful, classic appearance. The heavy pearl coat of translucent mica flake over its white finish give this instrument a rich and lustrous sheen.
Tuning is a breeze with the Wittner Finetune pegs, nearly making the fine tuners built into the Wittner composite tailpiece redundant.
