Overview
The KNA VV-3 is an affordable, great sounding violin pickup. Encased in lightweight tone wood, the VV-3 sensor installs easily in the eye of the violin or viola bridge with minimal modification. The attractive, solid wood output jack housing is lined with soft, protective cork, as are the feet of the adjustable clamp legs. Detachable and portable, the KNA VV-3 conveniently accepts a 1/4" cable jack.

The KNA violin and viola pickup is among our favorite value options for amplifying acoustic violins. The piezo element is enclosed inside a thin wafer of wood, and mounts in the wing slot of the bridge (see large picture for detail). The solid wood output jack attaches securely to the instrument with two turnbuckles. This pickup is easy to fit to your bridge, and even easier to remove when not needed. For the budget-conscious buyer, this is the least-expensive, most convenient way to go electric with the instrument you've already got!
