Kustom Sienna 30 Pro
The folks over at Kustom have updated our favorite inexpensive amplifier. The new Sienna 30 Pro has the same great tones, but its exterior is a darker, richer brown, and all the controls feel to be of much better quality. This amp sounds great with a wide variety of electric violins, violas, cellos and basses. If you're looking for an inexpensive, great-sounding amp with decent power and a line out so you can plug into a PA, look no further.
The folks over at Kustom have updated our favorite inexpensive amplifier. The new Sienna 30 Pro has the same great tone, but now has better-quality potentiometers, so the volume, tone, and other controls have a smooth, well-weighted travel that feels like quality you wouldn't expect at this price point. The Kustom Sienna 30 Pro sounds amazing for an amp in this price range, exhibiting rich, solid tonal qualities when amplifying almost any violin, viola, or cello, and it even sounds decent with bass, but electric upright bassist will probably get better tone out of a dedicated base amp. The Sienna 30 Pro is a two-channel, 30-watt amp with one mic channel, one instrument channel, and a line out to connect to a PA or sound board. It also offers the classic sound of a spring reverb and chorus. This amp is an excellent choice for players on a budget who still need decent power, a great tone, and the ability to plug into a PA or sound board. It's also a great choice for school orchestra directors, praise bands/worship teams, and other organizations that may want to purchase multiple instruments and amplifiers while working within a set budget.
