Overview
The NS Design CR5 bass is one smooth playing 5 string bass, and it sounds and looks gorgeous, either bowed or plucked. Includes heavy duty stand and gig bag. Made of solid maple with ebony fingerboard in the Czech Republic.
The NS Design 5 string CR Bass comes set up with a low B string, but you can also get it with a high C string. Ned Steinberger is the master of ergonomic design - it not only looks great, it feels great, and it inspires you to new levels of creativity! He established a workshop in Europe to bring the price of quality electric upright basses within the reach of more players. He trained craftsmen in the Czech Republic so well that he discontinued his US made basses! According to Bass Player magazine, the Czech made CR Series "boasts impeccable craftsmanship from a country with a reputation for quality upright bass building.
